Th streets boasts the daily catches, and that, in and of its self, is worth visiting the town for. I recommend strolling around in the the early evening and eating here for supper. Naousa is a beautiful fishing village, with only around 3000 residents. There is also a restaurant on site (although its pretty pricey). If you’re staying at the Surfing Beach Paros (Village/Camping) some rooms will include a chair rental for free (everyday). You can rent a chair at the Santa Maria Beach Bar, and it includes full service. Santa Maria Beach is located on the north east side of the Island. You can rent a beach chair here, as well as eat at a nearby cafe. Golden beach is located on the south eastern part of the island. The top two beaches on Paros are Golden Beach, and Santa Maria Beach. I’d recommend maybe spending and afternoon exploring the whitewashed village of Parikia. As the historic capital on the island, it also serves as a great spot to explore the islands history and charm. Parikia is a town in Paros that is filled with cobblestones streets, churches, shops and beautiful flowers. These shorter ferries are usually around 30 minutes to an hour and cost around €15-30. If you’re coming from surrounding Island like Naxos, you will likely take a ferry. To fly to Paros, you will likely be flying out of Athens. You can also book a cabin in some ferries. Tickets are typically €50 + depending on the day, season and duration of the ferry. The ferry from Athens leaves from Piraeus and is around 3-5 hours. Most flights and ferries will come from Athens but are there some (especially ferries) from surrounding islands. He made us feel uncomfortable to the extent we left after 2 hours although we had planned to stay the whole day and order more drinks. You can either fly or catch a ferry to get to Paros. Overall, I would recommend the location, however, the service was that atrocious, I would avoid the whole thing altogether. Either way, he ruined the whole vibe yet the dj and the drinks were actually amazing. Not sure whether he acted this way because we were younger compared to most people there. He was rude and entitled it was like he went out of his way to be nasty and we seemed to be the only group he treated like this. My friend was not finished drinking her cocktail when he decided to put out his cigarette into her glass and sarcastically said sorry, laughed and walked away. He rudely snatched the drinks menu out of my friend's hand whilst she was reading it and took it to another group without saying a word. The server, who told us his name was Benny, needs to improve his social and waiting skills. We arrived at the beach club and the beach was beautiful, however, the service was embarrassingly poor, I've honestly never experienced anything like this in my life. Other than that it was a great experience So we decided to have lunch at the restaurant next door which had plenty of options. ![]() The beach bar menu was very limited, there were just a couple of sandwiches and maybe some salads. Everybody in the hospitality industry knows that such things should be done after operating hours and not while guests are present and enjoying your facility.Ģ. We couldn't relax while they working in front of us and couldn't wait for them to finish and leave. ![]() There were workers putting together some Gazebos right in front of us, they had ladders and paint buckets and construction material spread out on the beach, they obstructed our view and it didn't look very professional and the areas was cluttered with their things, and they were all taking cigarette breaks together clustered in front of us. The only two constructive comments i have :ġ. ![]() Many people were dancing to the music in the beach bar area. Our kids had a blast jumping on the waves since its windy in that area, they spent hours in the sea. The music played by the DJ gave the beach a very happening vibe. Best vibes, we were a mix of 6 adults and 7 kids and we all had a good time.
